As a pedagogue in the program, you will:
— join a residency program for music practitioners, theorists, and researchers
— present your methodologies and pedagogical practice in weekly online sessions, receiving feedback from peers
— engage in dialogue with fellow participants, gain new perspectives on pedagogical work in music, and broaden your understanding of the field
— develop your work through practice, experimentation, dialogue, and analysis with fellow participants during the in-person gathering at Bled Contemporary Music Week
— attend the festival’s symposia, lectures, and concerts while building an international network of colleagues
Possible dispositions for pedagogues include themes such as:
— identifying gaps and addressing students’ individual needs
— teaching through practice and dialogue
— developing teaching approaches based on individual student cases
— designing modules, curricula, and evaluation criteria
— constructing goal-oriented learning plans
— providing foundational tools for different student profiles
Examples of opportunities for pedagogues:
— comparing your pedagogical methods with those of other participants
— testing new approaches to practice with other participants
— remaining connected to your pedagogical subject through active participation
— exchanging experiences and learning examples with other pedagogues in your field
